Just like fashion trends come and go, stores are no different. And today, I proudly say, The Bay is cool again!
I’ve always been a fan of our great Canadian institution and this year The Bay really stepped it up a notch. First by making 2010 Olympic gear so cool that people were lining up around the block just for a chance to sport hoodies, scarves, gloves and mitts. Now, by adding fresh new lines in a range of price points that appeal to a new generation of fashionistas.
Strolling through The Bay has never been better. Sleek and clean merchandizing is starting to appear at flagship stores across the country. Higher end lines like See by Chloe, BCBG Max Azria and Halston Heritage are hanging on the racks. Trendy lines like Fergalicious, Free People, G by Guess, Naked and Famous, B Makowsky, and Big Buddha are bringing in the trendsetters. And best of all Canadian designers like Tara Jarmon, Pink Tartan, David Dixon and Soia & Kyo are reminding us why we should be proud wrap ourselves in homegrown and incredibly gorgeous designs.

P.S. Did I mention that their latest accessories are HOT too? One walk through department had my head spinning. So many sexy shoes to choose from… patent platforms, soft suede over the knee boots, strappy sparklers.
